Recently I was asked if I could custom design and make wedding invitations for a friends big day.
Naturally I replied: I will.
After sitting down with the client and discussing their wishes I set to work on creating just that.
They had set a few things such as the date being incorporated an old castle theme and line work. The rest was up to creative expression.
Combining their first initials with the date and a castle logo was the first step. Then I combined that with the fine scroll work in the corners and the continuous line work to complete the front of the card.
On the inside of the card I also created an elegant scroll that not only presents the text but also holds the inner card in place.
Each card is made up of 2 parts. The outer white card was laser cut and the inner red card was printed, cut and glued into position.
This creates the contrast colour face of the card and allows for the red card to flow through the center.
These invites can be as simple or complex as you choose and it only limited by your imagination.
